•Shea & Cocoa Butter Soap
These medium hardness bars contain palm oil (from a certified sustainable source), which gives the soap its foamy lather, while coconut oil provides a beautiful clean feeling. Cocoa butter and shea butter are two of the best emollients around, with wonderful moisturizing properties, readily absorbed into the skin. Cocoa Butter contains multiple antioxidants such as Vitamin E and a variety of phytochemicals, that kill off free radicals, to protect the skin from premature aging (wrinkles) and tissue damage. Shea butter also contains antioxidants, as well as antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents; making these soaps great for dry skin conditions, acne and for helping reduce scars and stretch marks.
•Beeswax Honey Oat Soap
This is a hard, gentle soap for sensitive or sensitized skin. Beeswax creates excellent lather and cleanses without drying or stripping the skin of its natural moisture. This is because beeswax is a natural surfactant, which forms a protective barrier to the skin as well as it acts as an emollient and a humectant, drawing moisture to, and sealing it in the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral properties, making it potentially beneficial for treating minor skin irritations, as well as vitamin A, which helps soften the skin and rebuild cells. Ground oats are added to gently exfoliate the skin, to help remove dead skin cells as well as honey, which is full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
*Can be made without honey and oats for use on pets.
•Goat's Milk Soap
Wonderfully moisturizing, Goat's Milk Soap is the best soap for any skin condition, or to maintain healthy skin. It is full of essential nutrients and vitamins that nourish the skin, such as vitamin B1, B6, B12, C, D and E, but it is the high content of vitamin A that is most beneficial. Vitamin A is necessary to repair damaged tissue and keeps skin healthy. Goat's milk also contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid, which help remove dead skin cells. Removing dead skin cells will help many skin conditions, such as psoriasis and acne, by removing irritation. The mineral Selenium is also found in goat's milk, which has an important role in preventing skin cancer and damage from excessive time spent in the sun.
